We herewith inform that the next Global Social Business Summit will happen in November 2017 as we require more time for the preparation of a successful, sustainable and impactful event.
Together with Grameen China we have worked on the possibility to host the Global Social Business Summit in November 2016 in China, but came to the conclusion that we need more time to involve key stakeholders from the business sector as well as to obtain legal permits for the event organization. We will continue our work and efforts to host the GSBS in China in the near future. We have also looked into alternative destinations, but came to the conclusion that at this point there is not enough time left until November to create an inspiring event with the quality and dynamic that the Global Social Business Summit is known for.
Please use the opportunities of the Social Business Day event in Dhaka and the Regional Social Business Forums, with the European one coming up next, to gather and strengthen our global social business community. Until then we are looking forward to welcome you at the Global Social Business Summit 2017.
